From Anatolia to the Arctic,
chasing the northern lights.

"I believe the most precious thing in life is the memories we gather. For as long as I can remember I've wanted to see the Northern Lights — and I still do."

About the author— read the full text

For as long as I can remember, seeing the Northern Lights had been my dream. I first realised that ambition in February 2013, in the Lapland region of Sweden. From the moment I first saw the Northern Lights, the passion only grew, and every year I made the effort to see them at least once more. Since that first night I've returned to the north eleven times — and counting.

My greatest aim in making this site was to gather everything I'd learned on my trips and to pass on my experiences of the Northern Lights and the northern countries to the reader. I'm an amateur photographer — landscape and night photography are the styles I enjoy most.

To explore is one of the finest qualities in human nature. To experience it first-hand will bring you great joy and teach you much. However much this site is a transfer of acquired knowledge, my greatest wish from the reader is that, at some point in their life, they make the effort to see one of the most beautiful things in the universe: the Northern Lights.
